Checklists -The OV Workbaskets are now working. You are now able to part complete the checklists and allocate them to the OV/ATT for sign off. When the OV/ATT log in they will see the below screen stating if they have checklists to sign. Please can we all work on getting the checklists completed and signed off by the tester. If you need any training on the checklists then please contact the office.
FMD amendment order 2025
This is to inform you that the FMD amendment order 2025 has been made, please see the link below.
This amendment brings our legislation in line with England and Scotland and means that Welsh Ministers now have discretionary powers to declare a Temporary Control Zone if disease is suspected. Previously, legislation meant that Welsh Ministers had to declare a Temporary Control Zone if disease was suspected.

PCHS and BVD Cymru
If you require your PCHS BVD results to be uploaded to BVDCymru database, please submit the BVD Cymru paperwork along with your PCHS submission form. Otherwise, this will not be actioned.
If you have submitted PCHS forms, but not sent the BVDCymru form, could you complete the BVDCymru form and cross reference it with the PCHS reference. The SRUC have kindly offered to upload these results once they have all the paperwork.
Pre populated forms are back!
Pre populated BVD Cymru submission forms are now available for download from DEWIN.
Just go into the keepers page and go to the BVD section. Click on the holding number and a pre populated submission form will appear.
Changing your details on SAM
Should you need to update your details on SAM or change/add a practice, you will now also need to complete an OV58 form PRIOR to making changes to practice registrations.
This is required in order to maintain an appropriate audit trail, and therefore from now on we require this form to be completed.
Additionally, the OV will also need to update their Improve account and mention within ‘other information’, any other practices they work at as well
